<p> Do you ever wonder &#8220;How do I build the perfect SEO Page?&#8221;  I get asked that question from time to time and I often think about it when I&#8217;m looking at other peoples websites.  Knowing what the elements of an optimized webpage or online directory listing or a perfect links page are is critical to your business website success.  Every page of a website should be optimized.  Learning about the components of an optimized webpage is the topic of this article.  There is also a style of a webpage that will work better than others in the search engines.  This will also be discussed.  It has been built with perfection in mind with a few bells and whistles to add value to the page ranking.</p>
<h3 align="center">How To Build an Optimized Webpage or Online Listing</h3>
<p>The <strong>Title and Description metatag</strong> are very important.  Keywords metatags are not as important other than to let a programmer know specifically what they are.  I still put them in because it helps me focus on what the page is about, but the Search Engines do not key off of them like they used to.  The <strong>Article/Page Title</strong>  is very important to tell the search engine what this page is about. Put a Paragraph Title and &#8216;quality&#8217; Links in each paragraph to help the reader gather more information.  Summarize the page with links to related information on the topic of this page.</p>
<h2>The Metatags</h2>
<p>Some Metatags are VERY important.  Some people might tell you that meta-tags are dead, but it&#8217;s not true.  Google, which handles 75% of all searches, relies heavily on the title and description tag.  The Title Meta-Tag and Description Meta-Tag are critically important.  The <a href="http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/title-tag">title tag is the most important piece for SEO</a> on your optimized page.   It tells the search engines what your page is about.  Make sure to optimize your title tag.  Important <a href="http://www.knowthis.com/principles-of-marketing-tutorials/internet-marketing/page-title-for-sem/">components of a good title tag are it&#8217;s length and content</a>.  Use primary keyword and keyword phrases in the title tag.  Keep the length under 70 characters.</p>
<p>The description tag is used in the search results as the two lines of text you see on the search results page.  <a href="http://www.techknowsys.com/Search-Engine-Strategies/Meta-tag.aspx">Components of a good description tag</a> may depend on the purpose of your webpage.  They may include a short distinct call to action including a phone number if desired, and a clear statement (including your keywords) of what the page is about.  You only have two lines and about 15-20 words to get the message out.  Think of it as a 30 second elevator pitch about your page.  If you only had one long sentence to make people want to take action about your product or service, what would it say.  Write it once.  Rewrite again and again if necessary until you get it just right.</p>

<h2>Page Title</h2>
<p>The page title should include the number one keyword phrase for the page.    <a href="http://www.prlog.org/10209401-the-importance-of-heading-tags-in-your-seo-strategy.html">The Page Content Title is very important</a> in SEO and is often overlooked.  It&#8217;s usually very similar to the Title Metatag.  It is always an &lt;H1&gt; tag and is usually the only &lt;H1&gt; tag on the page although that is not a requirement.  It&#8217;s Bold and it&#8217;s clearly positioned at the top of the page below the header so people know exactly what this page is about.</p>
<h2>The Paragraphs</h2>
<p>When is a <a href="http://webdesign.about.com/od/layout/qt/page_length.htm">webpage too short or too long</a>?  I think it&#8217;s best to keep the number of paragraphs to 4-5.  Longer is OK, and you will see some pages at the top of the search which have 20 pages of content, but I believe that in most cases, 5 paragraphs should be enough to cover the topic.  This is a general rule, not a hard and fast rule.  Put a title above each paragraph in bold, technically an <a href="http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_hn.asp">&lt;h2&gt; or &lt;h3&gt; header tag</a>.  I liken a good web page as the high school essay that we all had to write.  It&#8217;s 4-500 words, 3-5 paragraphs, first paragraph talks about what we&#8217;re going to say, paragraphs 2-4 say it, paragraph 5 summarizes what you just said with a little twist for optimization, i.e. provide links out to related information.</p>

<h2>The Content</h2>
<p>The English should read easily.  <a href="http://www.netmechanic.com/news/vol7/design_no8.htm">Writing Good Webpage content</a> takes practice.  Again, keep it simple if possible.  We want the reader to enjoy reading and learning about the topic.  Embed <a href="http://www.homeaffilate.com/work-from-home/training/what-is-a-high-quality-link">quality links</a>*, 1-3 of them within the paragraph as necessary to provide further information about the paragraph topic.  Links should always open a new page so as not to let the reader leave our website.  If you&#8217;ve done a proper keyword research, you will have a list of keyword phrases that you will include in the text of the sentences.  These keyword phrases make the best links as they are words and phrases that people have actually searched for before in the search engines.</p>

<p>*Quality Link &#8211; A link embedded in a sentence that is a keyword phrase that links to a website/webpage that consists of the same content as the subject of the paragraph where the link is embedded.</p>

<p>Related Information<br />
At the bottom of the page is a nice area for short links to topics of relevant information, i.e. where people could go to get more information about this page topic.  I cannot overstress <a href="http://www.searchenginepromotionhelp.com/m/articles/link-popularity-improvement/importance-of-links.php">the importance of links on your website</a>.  Remember, linking to relevant content drives the page ranking up.  Here&#8217;s an example:</p>

<h3>Check connection</h3>
<p>Check your connection by using Safari to open a web page. If you are connecting with Wi-Fi, note that many public Wi-Fi networks require users to sign in to use the service. If you are unable to sign in or otherwise unable to connect, turn off Wi-Fi to use only the cellular network data connection.</p>
<p>To turn off Wi-Fi, tap Settings &gt; Wi-Fi.</p>

<h3>Resolve multiple device lock-out</h3>
<p>Using two or more devices to access the same email account sometimes creates a lock-out issue that is easily solved.</p>
<p>Some steps you can take to prevent this from occurring are not leaving your computer&#8217;s mail application open, and increasing the interval to fetch mail on your computer and iPhone. To change this setting on iPhone go to Settings &gt; Mail, Contacts, Calendars &gt; Fetch New Data.</p>

<li>You&#8217;ll only be charged when the user actually clicks on your Ad and accesses your website, and even then, you will not be charged more than the amount that you specified, a maximum of 41¢ per click, for example.</li>
<li>Enter your daily budget. Here, you select how much you would like to spend on Adwords per day.</li>
<li>Click &#8220;save and continue&#8221;.</li>

<li>Google Tip: Use compelling search terms instead of generic ones. The generic term &#8220;oil&#8221; also leads to &#8220;Motor Oil&#8221;, for example. It is better to use &#8220;cooking oil&#8221; or several words such as &#8220;cold-pressed, Italian olive oil&#8221;. Now create your Ad text.</li>
<li>The Google suggest search terms (keywords) for you using words or phrases that global user search for. Except the search terms that match the product or service that you are offering.</li>
<li>You can also add further search terms. It is a good idea to use specific terms that precisely describe the product or service that you&#8217;re offering, for example &#8220;extra-virgin olive oil&#8221;.</li>
<li>Word combinations such as &#8220;cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil from Italy&#8221; are also affective and often work out cheaper than individual terms.</li>
<li>Click &#8220;save and continue to billing&#8221;.</li>
<li>Once you have included your billing information, that&#8217;s all there is to it.</li>
